The distance from the edges of the road frontage to the nearest street corner is shown either as text or as a symbol with the text appearing in the title block. No distances are shown for corner blocks.
Where the distance can be clearly labelled a circle is drawn at each end and the distance shown in between. If no distances at all are shown then to aid quick property sizing we provide an approximate block size tool. See section 4 for details.

Where it is impossible to label any boundary distances we produce a set of arrows to assist you in sizing the block. Along the top and left margins you will find arrows with distances. The left hand margin arrow indicates the distance from the most Northerly to the most Southerly point on the block. The top margin arrow shows the distances from the most Easterly to the most Westerly point of the block.
An approximate area for the block is shown. The area is within 10% of the surveyed area.
Several States provide block information on both the subject lot and the common property in a strata title. We produce an extra page for these plans that shows the common property lots for that plan. If the strata title has lots that are on top of each other, we can only show the boundary of the complete block. For example, a unit may be on the 7th floor but the PPL can only show the entire outline of the land parcel the unit sits on. In these cases, only two pages are provided.
